Akashi Single Malt Whisky is made at the White Oak distillery in the Hyogo prefecture. Producing using lightly peated barley and aged in three different types of oak cask (Spanish sherry oak, American oak and ex bourbon casks) this is the brand's flagship malt. (500ml Bottle)
The aromas have alight fruit notes with malt, spice, iodine, and apricot.
The palate is light and soft with hints of red apples, toffee, and local herbs.
Gentle fade of clove and fresh-cut wood.
