The Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown has once again bottle up a cracking cask strength edition of its 12 year old single malt. This time, they've used 50% bourbon casks and 50% sherry casks to build the expression, and it has been bottled up at 55.4% ABV. A dozen years of maturation has done this one very well indeed, as it packs plenty of Springbank's familiar deliciousness, with a wealth of fudge and dried fruit notes.
