8 year old single malt from the Kilkerran distillery, bottled at cask strength - this time it's a generous 56.5% ABV. Previous bottlings of cask strength whisky from Kilkerran have been very well received indeed, and we reckon this one will be equally as adored.
Tasting Notes
NOSE
Apricot and apple, with baked earth richness developing in the background.
PALATE
A powerful waft of smoke arrives as it opens, tempered by caramel and vanilla ice cream.
FINISH
Very slightly coastal, with a touch of tangy rhubarb.
