Bottled in 2018, The Peated is a sultry, smoky Japanese single malt whisky from the ever-popular Chichibu distillery. Fresh aromas of pink grapefruit, lemons, honey and smoky peat are joined by pine needles, flowers and green apples. The palate initially offers notes of dandelion, liquorice root and lemon balm, developing into pink grapefruit, cookie dough and rich bonfire smoke.
