This limited edition Macallan is a collaboration between Bob Dalgarno, The Macallan master whisky maker, and Spanish restaurant El Celler De Can Roca, twice voted the best restaurant in the world.
The whisky has been drawn from a combination of sherry puncheons (27%), butts (52%) and refill hogsheads (21%), using both European and American oak. Bottled at 48.2%.
Treacle, ginger, toffee apples and rich fruit with layers of vanilla, tropical fruit and subtle green wood.
Warm with spice, cracked pepper and cloves with hints of chocolate, brown sugar, oak and nuts. Followed by licorice and brandy snaps.
Full and warming with the mouth coating whisky lingering with soft spice and vanilla.
