In 2018 Speyside distillery GlenAllachie unveiled its new core range of single malt whiskies following its acquisition by a consortium led by ex-BenRiach owner Billy Walker. The 25yo is matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez sherry, Oloroso sherry and American oak casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Tasting Notes
NOSE
Sweet spices, marmalade and sultanas balanced in total harmony.
PALATE
Lashings of sultanas, pineapples and dark chocolate, followed by layers of Christmas cake, marmalade and sweet spices.
FINISH
Long and rich with a hint of menthol.
